The Colosseum

 

  Welcome to the colosseum. Where the emperor has no clothes. And if you dare tell him he will catch a temper tantrum. He beats up on the helpless and respects men of notoriety. He claims that he wants to "make this republic great again," but the majority begs to differ. We the people must use our privileges as citizens to install and implement the great attributes of humanity. May the Lord be with us.    

  Tax cuts have only benefited the wealthy class of citizens. In this dog-eat-dog society we live in it will be hard to imagine a common man or woman eat the organic crops that comes from being wealthy. Both classes pity each other. The wealthy pity the poor because they see a lack of security. On the other hand, the poor pity the wealthy because they have too much. Take away the gap between these two groups and all you have is human beings.       

  Basic rights of common men and women (healthcare, affordable housing, a solid minimum wage, etc.) have either been ignored or seen as not important. All we have is God and each other. Forming a circle we need to hold hands. Your color, creed, or background doesn't matter. One after the other we will tell each other our stories. Dispersing we shall feel relieved. Returning back to our communities we shall share all of what we did together. Lives will be changed. Perspectives will be shifted. Prejudice will be destroyed.     

  The armed forces of our republic is being used to oppress and terrorize not just people overseas but her own citizens. First and foremost, I would like to thank the men and women of the armed forces who risk their lives so we can enjoy the freedoms that are available in our reach. However, this does not excuse our military industrial complex from pushing genocide, murder, famine, and displacement everywhere it settles its bases. It is the same money our republic spends on sending young men and women to fight wars that should be used to build better roads, expressways, and schools. I have always supported peace talks before going to war. If nations would just sit at a table and talk things out like leaders should, there would be less chaos in the world.       

  AI, self-driving cars, Alexa, and human-like robots are now a reality in this hour. Advancements in technology has helped us create the universes and worlds we want to self-indulge in. We are free to use these devices, but we cannot let these devices use us. Balance between technology and nature has to be established so things do not get out of hand. Convenience should never go before human effort. Yes, enjoy the technology that is all around us. All I am saying is use your conscience.   

  Brothers, sisters, and comrades I call upon you to fight. Fight for your families. Fight for your morals. Fight for your values. Fight for your ideas. Girdled with the whole armor of God, we walk through the hypogeum with weapons ready in hand. This is our opportunity to bring forth true representation to our republic. We shall bestow vicious fatalities and achieve flawless victories.
