God Bless The Dead

I am not the one who gives looks of adoration to newborn babies. We all know in our hearts that once a child enters this world the traps and snares will eventually grab hold. Children are precious, but mothers and fathers can teach them as long as they are under their supervision. Next thing one knows children know more about their friends' affairs than what pleases their parents. The system of our world teaches our children about everything from morals, values, truth, lies, deception, innocence, and guilt. May God be with us.

Being a father has never been a dream of mine. I feel as though my children would not be secure because I never had a secure life. When I use the word secure, I mean financially, socially, and traditionally. Every achievement and accolade their father have ever possessed either was pulled out of the mud or had to be built from scratch. The lessons I would pass down to my children would be lessons they would not want to hear. Division and strife would than become a commonplace in my household. Annexation and separation would than take place. Leaving no one to carry the legacy of the Montgomery name.

Although I am a writer through occupation my job status is self-employed. Working a 9 to 5 is like giving one's livelihood to an oligarch that see's you as a replaceable pawn. 9 to 5's are for people who are working class and want to earn their own money due to a lack of resources. However, I was born for such a time as this to break generational curses and lead people to Christ through the spoken word and the written word. This path that I am walking on has never been paved in gold. Humility and meekness have been the fuel behind all my actions and decisions towards my neighbors and strangers.

The IRS (Internal Revenue Service) has been sucking the average man and woman dry since its founding. My views on paying taxes may differ from most but it is fair. I believe that every US citizen should pay taxes according to their occupations and salaries. And I also feel as though US citizens should pick and choose whether their hard-earned money should stay within their communities or be used to aid foreign affairs. Of course, our current circumstance is tax the poor and working class and give it to the rich. "We the People" still drive on unfinished streets, send our children to low-level schools, and live in housing that is just above average. I urge my fellow brothers and sisters across the U.S. and around the world to demand more for yourselves and for generations to come. It is the only way to fight back against the powers that be.

Life as we know it will leave you laying on your bed bruised and crying on your pillow in sorrow. I heard a pastor say that life is not for little boys and girls, but for grown men and women who can weather storms and push through trials and tribulations. As I got older, I had to admit that the pastor was right. None of us were meant to walk through this life alone. Some of us have been abandoned from the time we were children. Forcing us to fight the monsters and goblins of the darkest alleys of our minds and hearts. Luckily enough we made it out and have learned from our bumps, bruises, and scars.

Funerals have always made my skin turn cold. Caskets closing and being lowered into the ground has a hidden symbolism. When a person is laid to rest, he or she is finally granted peace. Peace that replaces burdens. Peace that is eternal. Peace that surpasses all understanding. To this we say: God Bless The Dead.
